We had pouring, flooding rain all night. The creeks that feed into the New River here are rushing milk chocolate water down the hills. About 10am though, that pouring rain turned into pouring snow. Even though our weather has been warm for several weeks, the snow quickly started sticking to the roads and grass. As it got colder, it became heavy, wet snow. Strangely though, we went to the next town to buy gas and it wasn't snowing there. Nor was it snowing on the other side of the river. Just here. Our own private little snow storm to remind us that spring isn't really here yet.
